Spanish investigators have discovered Atlantis's archaeological evidences.

Spanish investigators have discovered archaeological evidences underneath the
sea,
near the coasts of Gibraltar, that could belong to the Atlantic civilization
described by
Plato with the name of Atlantis and that the Greek philosopher located exactly
in front
of the Columns of Hercules (Straits of Gibraltar), next to the region of Gadeira
(Cadiz,
Andalusia) and of the Atlas (Morocco).
The first findings were made in the summer of the 2003. A report with the
preliminary
results was made, they consulted to great experts of reputation the
International as
George F. Bass and Cemal Pulak and the report were sent to the authorities and
competent organisms of Spain and to UNESCO.
It has spent a year, and still no scientific institution has shown interest to
study the solid
evidences discovered by the team of collaborating explorers of the investigator
and
escriptólogo Georgeos Diaz-Montexano, intellectual author of the theories that
support
these discoveries on the identification of the kingdom of the Atlantis with the
Atlantic
towns of the coasts of Iberia and Morocco.
It is the first time in all history that is discovered architectonic rest and
metal devices
under the sea in a location that agrees in a 100% with the descriptions offered
by Plato
on the geographic place where it was the island and the Acropolis of the
Atlantis.
Some investigators protest to have found Atlantis in other places of the World
like Jim
Allen, that places in a so remote place of Gibraltar as mountains of Bolivia,
whereas
Robert Samarst now is conceited to have discovered the Atlantis near the coasts
of
Cyprus, but Sarmast has still not discovered nor a single archaeological
evidence, the
only thing that does since it initiated his expeditions is to show pretty
drawings of virtual
maps recreated by knoll computers and natural geologic formation that it
interprets like
rest of Atlantis buried by the marine bottom.
The Spanish investigator Georgeos Diaz-Montexano, the German Ulf Ritcher and the
Dutch Jonas Berghman are the only investigators who defend with scientific rigor
and
adjusting to Plato's texts and many other authors of the antiquity the only
possible
location of Atlantis: the one that describes Plato, that is to say, near the
Columns of
Hercules (Gibraltar), Gadeira (Cadiz, Andalusie, Spain) and the Atlas (Morocco).
The Georgeos Diaz-Montexano's equipment of collaborator is the unique one who
has
shown the world submarine archaeological evidences that have been analyzed by
the
experts and they have still not been possible to recognize or to classify. These
evidences are to depths that correspond with the old level of the sea of several
thousands of years before the times of Solón and Plato.
It is paradoxical that the team of Spanish investigators has still not demanded
the
discovery of Atlantis, in spite of being those that more scientific evidences
have and
that nevertheless, Robert Sarmarst does not matter to him to affirm to the world
that
already has discovered Atlantis when the only thing that it has at the moment is
not
more than a few natural hills and formation - until it demonstrates to the
opposite and a
few virtual maps and recreations where it is reconstructed what Sarmast thinks
that
must have, but that not yet exists.
Robert Sarmast not yet has shown the world nor a single archaeological evidence
that
is solid and worthy to consider, whereas Georgeos Diaz-Montexano has shown to
not
one but several deposits with archaeological evidences "sui generis" that would
have
to be object of study between the scientists. Robert Sarmast has guided
fundamentally
by the speculations of the book pseudo-religious of Urantia, whereas Jonas
Berghman, Ulf Ritcher, and in special, Georgeos Diaz-Montexano, prefers to guide
itself by the scientific and philological study of the oldest manuscripts known
Plato, and
the scientific evidences contributed by geology, oceanography, the
paleogeography,
the sismology and archaeology.
Nevertheless, and against all logic, Robert Sarmast he is receiving, probably
the
greater advertising support at level the International that has never received a
finder of
Atlantis.
How can be explained these paradoxes?
Perhaps exists some false prejudice against the inhabitants of Spain and
Morocco?

we
had noticed in the list of Scientific Atlantología beams days that were tried to
plagiarize
to Georgeos Diaz-Montexano) the One of them Dr Rainer Kuhne, after obtaining
from
Georgeos Diaz-Montexano much information on the theory of Atlantis in Iberia de
Georgeos Diaz-Montexano, and until obtaining photos of satellites who Georgeos
Diaz-Montexano Diaz facilitated to him, had begun to publish in several sites of
Internet
and the famous magazine of archaeology Antiquite some articles leaving to
glimpse
that one treated of an original theory of them. Mr. Diaz-Montexano did not give
much
importance to this although i myself I noticed to him that it seemed that their
investigations and merits wanted to take advantage of. Hatred to have to say it,
but this
time I was right. Months ago back, the Dr Rainer Kuhne was tried to publish by
several
sites this theory of Atlantis in Andalucía ; and like Collina-Girard, never
mentioned to
Georgeos Diaz-Montexano by no part, in spite of using until its own photos and
linguistic arguments. It is a shame that these things continue happening.
In Spanish, at the moment (4,00 hours of Spain of today 7-06-2004), the single
news
has left published, peculiarly, in http://www.prensalatina.com.mx/Article.asp?ID=%
7BC3D94F5C-7AEF-4857-811F-356E11B514B2%7D&language=ES that is a
newspaper of Cuba, and rarest of everything it is that it has left in primicia
for the
Spanish world in that Cuban newspaper. This of course is very rare, because rare
Cuba time is first in publishing in the Hispanic world the news as it is not
that
somebody is sent them before to the other average ones like a primicia. It is
very
probable, almost surely, that these new opportunists German as they have been
several months already discussing with same me in the forum of Atlantis Rising
(to try
to defend to Georgeos Diaz-Montexano) by these same facts, has sent the news to
Cuba, single to humiliate a little to Mr. Diaz-Montexano because they know that
Georgeos Diaz-Montexano Diaz is rejected in Cuba not to share the same
ideologies
of the Cuban government, and know that the newspapers of Cuba never have wanted
to publish no news on the theories of Georgeos Diaz-Montexano Diaz-Montexano,
because all this has commented in several occasions in the Forum of Atlantis
Rising
where usually it participates enough the Dr Rainer Kuhne.
In any case, he would be very sad and dissapointing to return to see all Spanish
newspapers becoming echo of this news, to all those same Spanish newspapers that
have before rejected the news on the discoveries of Georgeos the Diaz-Montexano
and to that many of the members of the list of Scientific Atlantología have sent
the past
year - in several occasions the news on our findings with those same photos who
now
use the professors German without mentioning the source, that is to say, to
Georgeos
Diaz-Montexano.
We will again return to attend the other people's shame to see like in our own
country,
once again, will occur credit to another foreigner who takes advantage of the
theories
of Georgeos Diaz-Montexano (our maximum investigating scholar of the Atlantis)
before to recognize a son of our Spanish town, who in addition is the original
author of
that they are drinking or "absorbing" these foreign authors?
Practically all Spanish-speaking Spanish or interested in the Atlantis knows
that
Georgeos Diaz-Montexano takes before from several years (1997) that professor or
dr. Rainer Kuhne investigating the theory of Atlantis in Iberia and concrete in
Andalusia. The Dr Rainer published his first and only article (because not even
he has
a study still made) in August of the 2003, after knowing the arguments and ideas
Georgeos Diaz-Montexano and communicating with Diaz-Montexano thing that can be
demonstrated by the registries of the forums. From that same article of August
of the
2003 Diaz-Montexano already did not mention to Georgeos. Georgeos Diaz-
Montexano did not give much importance him, since after all the Dr Rainer has
encaprichado itself in placing the Acropolis in a point that stops Georgeos
Diaz-
Montexano is very little probable.
Georgeos Diaz-Montexano has been always sincere and it has never raised who the
Acropolis of Atlantis can be within the salt marshes of the boundary of Doñana
or
Marismas de Hinojo (that is where Schülten looked for Tartessos). This is
impossible
because all that area has been single earth from the average age or final of the
Roman
empire. This knows to all the archaeologists and paleogeógrafos to it of Spain
(that I
suppose will have the value of saying it when they read the news). It has been
known
that a long time ago (as demonstrate to Georgeos Diaz-Montexano in their work)
all
that area it was sea, for more of the 6000 years, to him Roman time. See these

This positioning of the Acropolis de Atlantis is a great silly thing that these
Germans
raise, but of all ways, they use the data and the photos of satellite that
Georgeos Diaz-
Montexano the past facilitated to the Dr Rainer Kuhne year, and that all you
know them,
because we often sent them to your writing directions, nevertheless, this Dr
Rainer
mentions not even that the photos are of Georgeos Diaz-Montexano (because Diaz-
Montexano ordered them company to a private) and of course, does not mention
that
Diaz-Montexano has been many years already before they working in this area and
developing the same theory to locate and to identify Atlantis with Iberia, in
concrete
with Andalusia (from the surroundings of Gibraltar to the Cabo of San Vicente
and
Madeiras Islands like more furthermost possible point) and with the age of the
final
Bronze, as Germans do not mention these presumed plagiadores either the
archaeological evidences that closely together, in the same mouth of the
Guadalquivir
river, under the sea, Georgeos Diaz-Montexano has reported, and that they also
know,
as recognize Jose Martín Agrelo either, another author of Spain who has been
time
before the Dr Rainer defending the idea that the Acropolis of Atlantis would be
in front
of the opening of the Guadalquivir, under the sea, also in a relatively near
point, and
they know all these data because Diaz-Montexano, of very good faith (and I also)
we
have shared them with them often in several forums in English and in German
where
the Dr Rainer participates.
Once again Diaz-Montexano in their test on the Vampiros Intelectuales or
plagiadores
demonstrates themselves to the enormous success of Georgeos
(http://usuarios.lycos.es/egiptosofia/vampiros_intelectuales1.htm ) In effect,
not deigns
to Georgeos Diaz-Montexano to be a third-world emigrant and in addition, by not
being
recognized officially and not to have a good social and economic position. Once
again
he demonstrates himself as many people are taking advantage of the information,
photos, tests and other contributions of Georgeos Diaz-Montexano, and once
again...
he will demonstrate himself (for shame of all the honest Spaniards intellectual)
which
Spain before prefers to recognize a foreigner plagiador and oportunista that to
a son
or descendant of its Mother country?
The Dr Rainer Kuhne (and all the one that takes advantage of Georgeos Diaz-
Montexano of that way) are true a miserable one that does not deserve any
recognition, like also is true miserable all that that congratulates, recognizes
and
supports - by means of the spreading of its "pseudo theory" - to the Dr Kuhne
knowing
the theoretical priority Georgeos Diaz-Montexano and knowing the facts of how
the Dr
Rainer went doing little by little with his confidence until removing all type
to him from
information, data and photos. All the one that knowing this dares to
congratulate and to
promote to the Dr Rainer Kuhne without having the value of demanding an
explanation
to him of porqué has recognized Georgeos Diaz-Montexano like its main
intellectual
and inspirador predecessor, is authentic to be miserable a other DVI or Vampiro
intelectual , because the Dr, Rainer must have recognized, at least, that
Georgeos
Diaz-Montexano had been the one who facilitated those photos to him of
satellites and
the data. But no, instead of having dignity, which already is making some people
of the
forum of Atlantis Rising that know the facts but that very well never they have
accepted
to Georgeos Diaz-Montexano, he is to be glad of this fact and step to make fun
of a
little this new misfortune of Georgeos Diaz-Montexano.
It does not matter, now can all the "mediocre ones" be reir, since once again,
Georgeos Diaz-Montexano has been defeated by its enemies and another one
vampiro intelectual of so many that watch to him. The "mediocre ones" now can
una
time more applaud to the vampiros intelectuales that have returned to chupar of
the
intellectual blood of Georgeos Diaz-Montexano, but single it is question of time
that the
humanity ends up discovering all to these taken advantage of opportunists and
(and
with it to all those that supported to them at their moment) which they are
robbing ideas
to Georgeos Diaz-Montexano and other Spanish thinkers and that is taking
advantage
of their efforts. Until the famous Adolf Schülten (that also was German), that
it has
passed to history like the main author of the theory of Tartessós in the same
salt
marshes of Hinojo and the Boundary of Doñana and like first that it identified
to
Tartessós with Atlantis it plagiarized its work to Spanish authors who at their
same
time demanded this right, but that nobody did case to them (nor the own
Spaniards),
as she demonstrates Georgeos in its book. History continues repeating - and
shame
almost one hundred years unfortunately later.
Georgeos Diaz-Montexano acted with nobility and gave those photos to the Dr
Rainer
Kuhne, and it yielded many data to him because it never imagined that this it go
to
happen (just like it happened to him with the Collina-Girard French);
nevertheless, not
even they recognize the rights of Copyright or Cortesi'a on the photos that were
yielded
of altruistic way by Georgeos Diaz-Montexano, and who is the minimum that could
have I throw.
Although single outside by this, Georgeos Diaz-Montexano now could demand them
if
it wanted, because Georgeos Diaz-Montexano has the invoices that demonstrate as
it
ordered those photos and that they are hers, whereas they will not be able to
demonstrate that those photos took or ordered them they themselves. But, more
likely,
Georgeos Diaz-Montexano will not do anything, because she is a person who never
to
taken to anybody to the courts and feels until shame to have to arrive at a so
extreme
situation; in addition, it is convinced that it would never gain no judgment
against
scientists titled or academic like Collina-Girard and the Dr Rainer Khune.

The undersigned, Antonio Morillas Esteban, Bachelor of Philosophy at University
of
Barcelona and president of AGON. Grupo de Estudios Nietzscheanos, cultural
association (File Number 23411 of the Register of the "Justice Department" of
the
Generalitat of Catalunya), and recognized by the University of Barcelona
(Register
Number 02/07/82), guarantees:
Mr. Georgeos Díaz was invited by the Association I preside to expose publicly
his
theories about the location of Atlantis Island. This conference took place on
February
21st, 2003, and Mr. Georgeos Díaz, for two hours, not only showed his deep
archeological knowledge and authority in Greek and Plato’s work, but also an
investigation methodology worthy of admiration.
For this reason, we are surprised to see the statements made by the French
geologist
Jacques Collina-Girard, who is trying to appropriate the originality of these
theories,
already exposed and proved by Mr. Georgeos Díaz in different publications (i.e.,

allá de la ciencia" (Beyond Science), April, 2000; "El Museo" (The Museum),

culture
and promoting it, we answer for the uprightness and scientific capacity of Mr.
Georgeos Díaz, an investigator whose passion for his object of study and his
methodologic seriousness constitutes a model for everyone who wishes to follow
the
long way of scientific uprightness, and for those who still believe in amicus
Plato, sed
"magis amica veritas" as lemma for all serious investigation...

Atlantic

and the Swedish Jonas Berghman are the only investigators who defend with
scientific
rigor and adjusting to Plato's texts and many other authors of the antiquity the
only
possible location of Atlantis: the one that describes Plato, that is to say,
near the
Columns of Hercules (Gibraltar), Gadeira (Cadiz, Andalusie, Spain) and the Atlas
(Morocco).
The Georgeos Diaz-Montexano's equipment of collaborator is the unique one who
has
shown the world submarine archaeological evidences that have been analyzed by
the
experts and they have still not been possible to recognize or to classify. These
evidences are to depths that correspond with the old level of the sea of several
thousands of years before the Solon and Plato times.
It is paradoxical that the team of Spanish investigators has still not demanded
the
discovery of Atlantis, in spite of being those that more scientific evidences
have and
that nevertheless, Robert Sarmarst does not matter to him to affirm to the world
that
already has discovered Atlantis when the only thing that it has at the moment is
not
more than a few natural hills and formation - until it demonstrates to the
opposite and a
few virtual maps and recreations where it is reconstructed what Sarmast thinks
that
must have, but that not yet exists.
Sarmast not yet has shown the world nor a single archaeological evidence that is
solid
and worthy to consider, whereas Georgeos Diaz-Montexano has shown to not one but
several deposits with archaeological evidences "sui generis" that would have to

object of study between the scientists. Robert Sarmast has guided fundamentally
by
the speculations of the book pseudo-religious of Urantia, whereas Jonas
Berghman,
Ulf Ritcher, and in special, Georgeos Diaz-Montexano, prefers to guide itself by
the
scientific and philological study of the oldest manuscripts known Plato, and the
scientific evidences contributed by geology, oceanography, the paleogeography,
the
sismology and archaeology.
Nevertheless, and against all logic, Robert Sarmast he is receiving, probably
the
greater advertising support at level the International that has never received a
finder of
Atlantis.
How can be explained these paradoxes?

Investigator vindicates to the Plato's Atlantis like an para-historical story.
"The narration on the Atlantis written in the dialogues of the Platós Timaeus
and the
Critias, belongs to a type of literary sort much more next to the history that
to

Díaz has

most of the Díaz-Montexano's contributions they are absolutely original and
novel.
Points obtained by Georgeos Díaz and that they widely appear developed in his
theory:
1. A series of serious errors of translation and interpretation on the Atlantis,
perpetuated during many centuries and presents in all previous works, are
rectified for
the first time.
2. In the history of the atlantology and classic archaeology and philology it is
for the first
time made a paleographical and lexicographical study and medieval revision of
texts
of Plato through the trascripciones of manuscripts and codices written in Greek
and
Latin. For the first time, the oldest translations of the Timaeus like the one
of Chalcidio
(Century IV) and the translations to Latin of books of the Timeo and the Critias
to the
Latin of famous medieval philosophers Marsilio Ficino (s. XV) and Iano Cornarius
study and consult in a study on Atlantis (s. XVI).
3. The original names of the atlanteans kings and the own Atlantis like the

island of which are reconstructed for the first time as "to Support, to Bear, to
Endure";

Kekrops, Erechtheus, Erychsichton and Erichthonios. This so important detail,
that it
allows to locate the end of Atlantis in the Age of the final Bronze, had not

commented by any atlantologist or student of Atlantis before Georgeos Diaz-
Montexano.
7. For the first time is argued and demonstrated that Plato never talks about to
Atlantis
like an "enormous continent" but like a NHSOS, that is, an island or peninsula.
8. It is demonstrated for the first time with objective data, that is to say,
with the true
words written in Greek and Latin of the old manuscripts and codices that
Atlantis were
a NHSOS that just was ahead same of the Columns of Hercules (Gibraltar) and not
"beyond" of the Columns of Hercules nor in means of the Atlantic Ocean as
erroneously all have maintained before Georgeos.
9. One for the first time demonstrates also with objective data and solid
evidences that
Plato the word never mentions the Ocean (ÔKEANOS) that appears in most of the
translations of the Timaeus and the Critias. Plato always speech PELAGOS (or
FRETUM in the translations to the Latin).
10. One demonstrates for the first time that the same architectonic scheme that
used
the Atlanteans to construct their city or the Acropolis is the same symbol that
appears
during all the Age of the Bronze by thousands in Iberia and some points of the
Atlantic
coasts like the British Islands, Ireland and Scotland, and that Georgeos has
classified
like symbol for "Concentric Rings and Channel". Georgeos also demonstrated that
this
same symbol appears of very frequent way in the ceramics of Iberia and
Tartessós.
11. Also one demonstrates for the first time that in Iberia cities of the Age of
the Bronze
that constructed with the same architectonic scheme of Atlantis, that is to say,
by
means of concentric pits or circular ring existed surrounding to a central
island or the
Acropolis. In Iberia Georgeos it has located two cities, one in Jaén, Andalusia,
kingdom of Tartessos and another one in Madrid, almost in the center of the
NHSOS
Iberia.
12. For the first time is demonstrated that the old name of Seville, Ispalis or
Ispalya is
translated in languages semitics (like the old Phoenician), "island of to

lexicographical proofs, discovered in the codices and old manuscripts of the
Timaeus
and the Critias that Plato did not invent the history of Atlantis. The Proofs
presented by
Georgeos demonstrates that the text of the Critias and the part of the Timaeus
that
speak of Atlantis belong to a text older writing in archaic style like used in
the Solon's
times.
15. One demonstrates for the first time that the only NHSOS, that is to say,
Island or
peninsula, that was next or ahead to Columns of Hercules, to the West of Europe,
the
West of the Thyrrenia and Asia, and to the West of Libya and Egypt, and that in
had
addition a called region Gadeira, was the NHSOS Iberia. Demonstrating with that
the

Peninsula or Atlantis, the one that would be according to Georgeos Diaz, in some
point between the Straits of Gibraltar, the Gulf of Cádiz, the coasts of
Morocco, and the
Madeira Islands like possible more remote point. In their intellectual effort

decipher definitively the enigma of the Atlantic civilization that Plato
denominated with
that same name, Diaz-Montexano has been able to find several references of other
authors classic, previous to Plato, who give to faith of the existence of an
island or
peninsula that like the Atlantis Island was located just in front of the Straits
of Gibraltar
between Gadira or Gades, the present Cádiz, and the Atlas or coasts of Morocco.
These references contribute many revealing data that confirm the geographic data

islands also located in the surroundings of Gibraltar and in the borders of the
Atlantic
coasts of Iberia and Morocco, these islands are Aliba, Etheria, Scheria,
Erythea,
Gadeira, Sarpedonia, Ogigia and Tartessós, and is very possible that many of
them
are different forms to denominate to the same island or peninsula that Plato it
named
like Atlantic island or of Atlantis.
The translations of texts of the mentioned authors are guaranteed by the solid
knowledge of the prestigious philologer Elvira Gangutia Elícegui, Professor of
Investigation of the Department of Greco-Latin Philology of the Institute of
Philology of
the CSIC and co-author of the lexical Dictionary Greek-Spanish.
Diaz-Montexano it was noticed, it does or more than seven years, that all the
translations of the dialogues of Plato of the Timaios and the Kritias were too
liberal,
adapted or interpretative. In most of the grammar translations of the diverse
European
and American classic schools of philology, than being translated more to Plato,
it was
interpreted to him, and this brought like consequence the edition of serious
errors of
interpretation that motivated, on the one hand, that the story of Plato seemed
more
incredible or mythical, whereas on the other hand, these same imprecision’s
served as
stimulus many fantasises and speculating writers, more interested in writing
books of
successes or basing esoteric ideologies that in looking for the truth.
If the first modern translators of Latin and Greek Plato's texts had worried to
translate
the texts adjusting the possible maximum to the own written words, to their true
meaning etymologises and contextual, he is to say to translate metaphrastical
and not
to interpret on which he assumes that he meant Plato, because probably never so
many fantasies would have been written and speculations on the Atlantis neither
would
have been tried to look for their rest by almost all the Earth corners, until in
the absurd
and remote points the more of “Columns of Hercules” or Straits of Gibraltar.
Between these errors of interpretation one is - in most of the translations that
Atlantis
was an enormous continent located beyond the Columns of Hercules in means of the
Atlantic Ocean. The Atlantis was not a continent but an island, was not "beyond"
of the
Columns of Hercules but ahead, together or near the own Columns, and one was not
in
means of the Ocean but in a sea, Straits or arm of sea that own the Plato it
denominates with the name of Straits of the Columns of Hercules. The word the
Ocean
not even exists in the narration of the Atlantic-Gadi'rica civilization of
Plato. And as far
as the size of the island or peninsula Atlantis, Plato always talks about to the
same one
like a Nêsos that in Greek was used the same to denominate to the islands that
to
peninsulas, like for example the Peloponesos, that is a Greek peninsula.
Plato he does not say either that Atlantis were greater than Libya and Asia but
that this
was the greater island of Libya and the Asia, which is translated because the
Atlantis
island was the greater one, greatest, compared with the islands of Libya (the
North
territory and the northwest of Africa, from Morocco to Egypt) and with the
islands of
Asia (smaller Asia). Atlantis or Atlantis were because an island not a
continent, and the
dimensions that offer Plato of their plain, 3000 stages of East-West length by
2000
stages of latitude the north-south, are the same ones that offer other classic
authors for
the extension of the kingdom of Tartessós or the Turdetania. These measures,
according to Plato, were those of the plain where was the Acropolis; a plain
that
watched at the southern part (the plain of the Bética?) whereas Mountain range
was
protected of northern winds by a mountain arc (?).
Theses this of Spain Real Chronics, Jose Pellicer de Osau y Tovar (S. XVII) and
Spanish historian Francisco Fernández y González, (XIX-XX Centuries) and son
Juan
Fernández Amador y de los Ríos (1911), who went ahead to famous German
investigator Adolf Schülten in the identification of the kingdom of Tartessós
with the
Plato's Atlantis, although lamentably, nowadays do not recognize such merits to
them.
After this region or it lines up main of king Atlas extended other nine regions
of diverse
dimensions, being main and the greatest one, the one of the great plain where
one
was the sacred Acropolis and the temple dedicated to the God Poseidôn and its

Important discoveries in medieval codices and manuscripts of the Plato's
Critias.
Hispano-Cuban investigator has discovered in medieval codices and manuscripts of
the Plato's Critias, a reading nonnoticed to date of the fragment where
beginning date
of or beginning of the war between Atlanteans and Greeks.

codices and manuscripts of the Plato's Critias, a reading nonnoticed to date of
the
fragment where beginning date of or beginning of the war between Atlanteans and
Egyptian-Greeks is spoken of the supposed antiquity of the 9000 years before
Solón
like. This discovery, throws new lights on the mystery of the true chronology of
Atlantis,
according to Plato.
The finding has taken place in the Critias' old manuscripts classified by
paleographists
like Malatestiaunus Codex (M), Parisimus Codex; post diorthosin ab eadem manu ut
videtur (A2) and in a Codex more known by the experts, Vindobonensis 55;
suppl.phil.gr.39 (F).
In these codices, the Critias' fragment 108e-2 appears in a grammar variant
different
from found in the Parisinus Codex graecus 1807 (A) that is the form that were
chosen -
arbitrarily- by the first translators and paleographists that worked with the
medieval
manuscripts of Plato, and who therefore, is the one that has served later as it
bases for
the translations of Plato's Works to the main modern languages. While in the
Parisinus
Codex graecus 1807 (A), is appraised the grammar variant "enakischilia etê",
(nine-
thousand year) in Codices M, A2 and F appears the variant "ennakis etê chilia",
whose metaphrastical translation is "nine-year and thousands", that is to say,
"1009
years". This corresponds with a very old custom, where -by general rule- the
small
number was written first or in front of the greater number.
This important discovery of the investigator and scriptologist Georgeos Diaz-
Montexano, shows a new interpretation of the controverted date traditionally
accepted
of 9000 years, conferring a greater logic to the history of Atlantis narrated in
the
Timaeus and the Critias de Plato and therefore a greater credibility, since it
is not the
same to assume a war supposedly occurred between Atlanteans and Greek-
Egyptians in a as remote date as 9000 years of the times of Solón that to accept
that
this war has happened in fact single 1009 years before Solón. In this case as
much
war as end of Atlantis would have to locate them in year 1569 B.C., just in
times of
hero Kekrops, who is mentioned by the own Critias like one of kings Athenians
who
fought against the Atlanteans, which evidently does not seem already a mere
chance.
Georgeos Diaz thinks that this discovery demonstrates that the theory to locate
the end
of Atlantis in the Age of the Bronze, around 900 or 1000 years before the times
of
Solón, is the correct one. The interpretation of 9000 years has been due then to
the
continuity in the trasmisión of an error of a medieval cotrack. The first
students and
paleographist chose to use some of copies where she appeared written the number
of
9000 years, whereas they ignored or they did not know other documents where it
appeared the number of 1009 years. The translations to modern languages followed
documents or copies with the version of the number of 9000 years, and thus it is
since
this serious error has arrived us until the present time.

Interested contributors are kindly asked to submit the Abstract Submission Form
by
15th February 2005.
All abstracts will be reviewed by the International Program Committee, and the
authors
will be notified about acceptance of their paper by 15 March 2005. All the
accepted
abstracts, will be published in the Abstract Book that will be given to the
conference
participants.
A CD of the conference proceedings will be published after the conference.
Detailed
