the places of doings and livings

Resumo

O primeiro pensamento que temos quando visamos analisar a rua, é de que ela é apenas um caminho onde passamos. Talvez se pensarmos um pouco mais, podemos percebê-la como o lugar onde estão as construções ou o lugar do encontro, do movimento. O intuito inicial da pesquisa é compreender a rua como o lugar da apropriação do espaço para o acontecimento da vida, das práticas sociais, dos fazeres e viveres dos sujeitos que dela se utilizam. A partir dessa experiência múltipla, podemos apreender esses lugares com seus diversos significados, que foram construídos (e reconstruídos), muitas vezes dando novos significados, outras vezes reformulando, outras vezes mantendo o status da rua.

Abstract

The first thought we have when we aim to analyze the street is that she is just one way we go. Maybe if we think a little more, we can perceive it as the place where are the buildings or the meeting place of the movement. The initial purpose of the research is to understand the street as the place of the appropriation of space for the life event, social practices, and live the doings of the individuals who make use of it. From that experience multiple, we can get these places with their various meanings, which were built (and rebuilt), often giving new meanings, sometimes reshaping, sometimes keeping the status of the street.
