A EDUCAÇÃO SUPERIOR NO MERCOSUL COMO POLÍTICA DE
INTEGRAÇÃO E DE DESENVOLVIMENTO

RESUMO
O presente artigo tem por objetivo analisar a educação superior no
ambiente do processo de integração do Mercado Comum do Sul, levantando uma
discussão prévia sobre o direito à educação como um dos pilares da consolidação
da dignidade humana e do desenvolvimento. Para tanto, será empenhado o estudo
sobre a educação superior na América Latina, analisando índices e rankings que
versam sobre a educação superior na região, como forma introdutória a tema.
Posteriormente, o trabalho abordará o desenvolvimento do tema educacional no
MERCOSUL, traçando uma apresentação temporal dos acontecimentos no bloco dos
assuntos que envolvem a educação, sobretudo a educação
superior.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to analyze the higher education environment in the process of integration of the MERCOSUL, pointing a discussion about the right to education
as a pillar of the consolidation of human
dignity and
development. For this, the study will be engaged on higher education in Latin America, analyzing indexes and rankings
that speaking about higher
education in the region as a way to introductory theme. Later work will address
the development of the educational theme in MERCOSUR, and a timeline
presentation outlining the events in the pack of issues involving education,
especially higher education.
