4. Renewal of Second, First or Advanced Category License
What does it consist of?
Licenses for the Advanced and First or Expert categories,

Novice category, a lapse of five (5) years, counted from

National or foreign radio amateurs who hold a license
granted in a foreign country with which Colombia has an agreement
reciprocity and who are in transit through the country, may
operate the ham radio service, after registering your license
before the Ministry of Communications and with compliance with

current legal daily minimum (See section 7.5 of article 7 of the

Collect and File Documentation
To request an Operating Permit for Radio Amateurs
Foreigners passing through the country must attach the documentation
required This request can be made by accessing the RABCA Module

The documentation must contain the Basic Application Form
Completed, proof of consignment (original and
copy), 1 copy of the identity document (Citizenship card;
identity card or immigration card), and a 3x4 Photograph
matte blue background, must be enclosed in a sealed envelope and
marked with the
applicant's data, without pasting or stapling the application.
