JOTA (Jamboree-on-the-Air) weekend is this weekend, October 19 and 20.
It is an annual Scouting event linking Scouts around the world using
Amateur Radio.

There are a number of clubs and individuals who will be inviting scouts
to their club station or home to let them experience the fun of talking
with other scouts in the US and around the world. If you have a
station and know a scout or two, invite them to make some contacts.
Everyone is always talking about how to get younger folks to get into
Amateur Radio. Well, here’s a way to act on it!
