There's also a track on Eve
that includes Morse Code.
Yes, on "Luci
fer." The one that's up front, the one that you hear very
clearly, that's "Eve" spelled in Morse Code. But the sor
t of random Morse Code that you hear at the beginning of
the album, that was just taken straight off short wave, a
nd I have absolutely no idea what it says. I think somebo
dy, somewhere, once drew attention to that and did transl
ate it, but I don't know that it had any real bearing on
anything -- there was nothing particularly interesting em
bedded in there. <

I'm highly skeptica
l of the claim for Morse code in "Strawberry Fields Forev
er."
The Stranglers' "Enough Time" contains a Mors
e message to the effect of "SOS--This is earth--we are fu
cked--please advise."
"Oh Dear Miss Morse" by Pear
ls Before Swine finds Tom Rapp actally singing the dits a
nd dahs' to spell out "fuck."
"Little Black Buzzer
" by Ivor Cutler also has sung dits and dahs, spelling ou
t "Here I am."
from Steve's Beatles Page&nb
sp; This is most certainly not "JL", and is in fact ra
ther poor morse code, if it is meant to be that.I'm not g
oing to argue with this because I really don't know. If i
t's not morse code for "JL," then what is it? random beep
ing from a telegraph?

Anyone e
lse hear it and if so, can you copy the cw? | It is not morse code, although it did c
atch my interest when I first heard it as well. It is par
t of a synthesizer sound patch that when you sustain the
sound it fades away and plays this random arpegio that so
unds very similar to morse code. This is a "pad" patch in
(I believe) a Korg Trinity synthesizer.
Best, Brian
Dice Brian que el sintetizador Korg Trinity ge
nera un arpegio aleatorio que suena muy similar a CW.
