Visiting Assistant Professor
The Department of Environmental and
Earth Sciences at Willamette University is accepting applications for a one-year
Visiting Assistant Professor position starting August 2003. Ph.D. required; ABD
considered for an appointment at the rank of Visiting Instructor. We seek a
broadly trained geographer whose teaching responsibilities will include an
introductory undergraduate course in Environmental Systems, the freshman seminar
on War and Peace, an upper level undergraduate course in Water Resources, and
two or three undergraduate courses based on expertise, with preference given to
Regional Geography (Latin America, Asia, US, Middle East) and/or Environmental
Studies (Conservation Geography, Natural Resources Geography, Biogeography,
