Professor Nikita Glazovsky, vice-president 2dd of the IGU passed away last day 20 of November. He was a geographer recognized in the international and promotional community of Geography between the Commonwealth of Independent States. At the moment was the second term like vice-president of the IGU (2004-2008). Always cooperative and enthusiastic, he was promotional of international projects between which it emphasizes the elaboration of a guide for professors in the matter of sustainable development, project in which recently participated in Rome three Latin American geographers, whose collaboration always saw with great affection.
