BRAZILIAN STUDIES
The David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies at Harvard
University is pleased to announce the launch of a new online resource
for scholars who study Brazil and for all those interested in Brazilian
Studies.
The Directory of Scholars in Brazilian Studies has been created to
stimulate exchange between scholars in Brazilian Studies and to make
their expertise more easily accessible. The Brazilian Embassy in
Washington supports the project, which complements a set of recent
Embassy initiatives to strengthen Brazilian Studies in the United
States.
Please access the directory at:
http://drclas.fas.harvard.edu/directories/brazil/index.php
Anyone can search the Directory. Specialized researchers may find the
directory useful to identify colleagues who work on related subjects.
Newcomers to the study of Brazil can use it to become familiar with the
field by browsing members' research interests and publications. For
those outside the academic world, it can serve as a reference tool to
specialists in particular areas of Brazilian Studies.
If you are a scholar in Brazilian Studies and would like to be included
in the directory, please refer to the information about how to become a
member on the directory's home page.
Greetings,
Oliver Dinius
