GARHWAL: Mild earthquake jolted the Garhwal areas, including Chamoli and Rudraprayag districts of Uttaranchal along the Indo-Tibet border this morning, official sources said.

 

No damage or casualties were immediately reported, Chamoli District Magistrate Madan Singh said.

 

The tremor, which occurred at 9.42 am and 9.53 am, had magnitude of 3.5 and 4,4 on Richter scale respectively, a release of the Met department said in New Delhi.
