Fourth Annual Field Trip to Galapagos Islands, Andes Mountains, and
Tropical Rainforest of Ecuador June 30 to July 23, 2003, college credit or
audit. All ages welcome. Meet the people of Ecuador, study majestic volcanoes,
explore the jungle, visit traditional markets, marvel at the beauty of Darwin’s
Enchanted Islands, listen to music of the Inca ancestors and much more.
Colleagues and students are cordially invited to participate,
undergraduate or graduate level semester credits at Eastern Illinois University
(low in-state tuition for all participants, usually transferable). Participants
enroll in Geography or Earth Science or History or African Studies for 5
semester credits plus optional 3 credits related research completed in fall.
Enrollment limited to 15. Early enrollment encouraged by April 1.
Cost
$3,235 includes airfare USA to Ecuador, airfare to Galapagos Islands, ground and
boat transportation, lodging, meals, park entry fees, island cruise, guides,
tips, and course materials. Tuition additional. Passport required. Questions?
