Asunto:[ajedrezlapalma] 57th Russian Ch (11) - Moscú - Ronda final.-

Estimados listeros:

Terminó el campeonato ruso. Muy buenas partidas se disputaron. Kasparov, brillante vencedor. No cabe duda que la elaboración de esos grandes libros le ha restado fuerza últimamente… pero en este campeonato volvió por sus fueros, algo que como ya dije resulta muy <<positivo>> para el ajedrez. El maestro todavía tiene algo que decir … .

Final Standings: 1. Kasparov, Garry g RUS 2813 7.5; 2. Grischuk, Alexander g RUS 2704 6.0; 3. Dreev, Alexey g RUS 2698 5.5; 4. Morozevich, Alexander g RUS 2758 5.0; 5. Motylev, Alexander g RUS 2651 5.0; 6. Svidler, Peter g RUS 2735 5.0; 7. Bareev, Evgeny g RUS 2715 5.0; 8. Korotylev, Alexey g RUS 2596 4.5; 9. Epishin, Vladimir g RUS 2599 4.5; 10. Timofeev, Artyom g RUS 2611 4.5; 11. Tseshkovsky, Vitaly g RUS 2577 2.5;

EL PRÓXIMO GRAN TORNEO:

Corus - Wijk aan Zee

The Corus Chess Tournament which takes place
14th-30th January 2005 has completed the lineup for the event. World rated players 2-9 are all competing with the addition of Judit Polgar as the 14th and final player.

World Ranking and players: 2 Anand IND 2781; 3 Kramnik RUS 2760; 4 Morozevich RUS 2758; 5 Topalov BUL 2757; 6 Leko HUN 2743; 7 Adams ENG 2740; 8 Svidler RUS 2735; 9 Polgar HUN 2728; 13 Ponomariov UKR 2710; 15 Grischuk RUS 2704; 21 Short ENG 2687; 25 Van Wely NED 2681; 37 Sokolov NED 2663; 59 Bruzon CUB 2637

No obstante ahora seguiré de reojo la actuación de Gata Kamsky que ha empezado algo deslucido el Campeonato USA con tres tablas de tres partidas… .

Veremos si Kasparov y Khasim acaban jugando antes de final de año, o a principios del próximo (no recuerdo ahora mismo, para cuando) … .

Bueno, no les quepa duda a todos que volveré !!.

Un saludo,

Angel.
